Tank Rotation
During combat you are constantly making decisions for what to cast next. Knowing what to do and when is critical for being effective at tanking. This rotation guide should help give a basic understanding of what to do, what's most important, and how to prioritize Vengeance Demon Hunter abilities and cooldowns.
Rotation (without Spirit Bomb)
- The Hunt on CD
- Soul Carver on CD
- Fel Devastation on CD
- Fracture (keep recharging without capping Fury and Souls)
- Immolation Aura on CD without capping Fury or Soul Fragments (considering Fallout talent)
- Soul Cleave to consume Soul Fragments and avoid overcapping Fury
- Sigil of Flame on CD without capping Fury or Soul Fragments (considering Soul Sigils talent)
Use Throw Glaive when nothing else to do.
Rotation (with Spirit Bomb)
- The Hunt on CD
- Soul Carver on CD
- Fel Devastation on CD
- Fracture (keep recharging without capping Fury and Souls)
- Immolation Aura on CD without capping Fury or Soul Fragments (considering Fallout talent)
- Spirit Bomb with 4 or more Soul Fragments
- Soul Cleave to spend Fury without Soul Fragments
- Sigil of Flame on CD without capping Fury or Soul Fragments (considering Soul Sigils talent)
Use Throw Glaive when nothing else to do.
Cooldowns
- Fiery Brand (when expecting high damage)
- Demon Spikes (keep at least one charge rolling)
- Metamorphosis (health increase and emergency healing)
