Subtlety Rogue

This rotation guide should help give a basic understanding of what to do, what's most important, and how to prioritize Subtlety Rogue abilities and cooldowns.

Single Target Rotation

1. Shadow Blades (on cooldown)
2. Slice and Dice (maintain)
3. Rupture (maintain on primary target)
4. Symbols of Death (on cooldown)
5. Shadow Dance (on cooldown)
6. Thistle Tea (if low on energy)
7. Secret Technique with Cold Blood
8. Eviscerate (during Shadow Dance)
9. Vanish (on cooldown)
10. Shadowstrike (if Shadow Dance is active)
11. Backstab/Gloomblade

AoE Rotation

1. Slice and Dice (maintain on 5 targets)
2. Rupture (maintain on multiple targets)
3. Symbols of Death (on cooldown)
4. Shuriken Tornado/Thistle Tea (on cooldown and with Shadow Dance)
5. Secret Technique with Cold Blood (if 5+ Combo Points)
6. Black Powder (if 5+ Combo Points)
7. Shuriken Storm (during Shadow Dance)
8. Shadow Blades

With nothing else to do, Shuriken Storm to generate Combo Points.

Cooldowns

• Shadow Blades
• Symbols of Death
• Shadow Dance
• Thistle Tea
• Cold Blood
• Vanish (for extra Shadowstrike or to extend duration of Find Weakness)
