Movement in Patch 12.1.5
The latest update, on Nov 2, 2026, moved no spec beyond its margin of error. It ran on the same game build and SimC version.
Cleave details
This category measures best-case damage in a clean, stand-still fight against two raid bosses that stay up for the whole fight, with full raid buffs and near-perfect execution. A spec's DPS in this category is its damage to both bosses added together. Use it for council fights and bosses with a long-lived add.
Common questions
Why doesn’t Cleave DPS match my damage meter?
To compare DPS with in-game, the conditions would first need to be identical, and in this particular sim, the targets are up 100% of the time and they are hit 100% of the time. In-game, typical encounters would see the amount of adds change, they’d move around, and they’d die at different times. This sim and these rankings are useful to see how well specs scale from single-target fights. The “vs ST” column gives you a quick glimpse of that.
