Yes, but SimulationCraft is built for max-level characters. A character below max level, or one with very old items equipped, can crash the sim.
SimulationCraft is a DPS simulator, so it doesn’t support healer specs. Tank specs are simmed for DPS.
Your gear and talents come in from Blizzard’s Armory and are built into a SimC profile. The results give you personal stat weights, the build and spec that do the most DPS with your gear, and your biggest upgrades from your bags and vault.
Only the SimC addon, and only for best in bags, best in vault and item upgrades. The Armory doesn’t show your bags, Great Vault or crests, so type /simc in game and paste the text. For vault, open the Great Vault first. The sim walks you through it.
Usually. SimC changes quickly after a patch, so sims can pause for a short while, or a spec can be turned off until SimC fixes it. Results can also shift between runs until things settle.
More is on the way. New sims and fight modes are added, and existing ones improved, as the game changes and subscribers ask for them. The changelog lists every update.
It pays for the servers your sims run on, keeps SimC builds current, and funds new sims and guides. Noxxic is independently run, so subscriptions are what keep it going, and why the site runs without ads.
Any time, from the billing pane in your account settings. A higher tier starts straight away, and a lower tier starts at your next renewal. A cancel keeps everything until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to free.
