When simulating for maximum theoretical single-target DPS, Arcane Mages averaged 26.72% more DPS than Fire Mages (+2M DPS).
Arcane+30.15% DPS
When simulating for light AoE DPS potential, with small waves of adds, Arcane Mages averaged 30.15% more DPS than Fire Mages (+3M DPS).
Fire+0.15% DPS
When upgrading the gear for both specs by +39 ilvl, Fire Mage DPS improved the most, +0.15% more than Arcane Mage. In total, Fire Mages DPS increased by 66.64% and Arcane Mages by 66.49%.

When simulating for max single-target DPS with the new Single-Button Assistant, Arcane Mages averaged 30.61% more DPS than Fire Mages (+1M DPS).
