# Compare specs

## Pick two specs

1. Open **Rankings** and, under Compare Specs, pick a spec on each side.
2. Choose **Compare specs**.

To change the pair, pick another spec on either side. From a [ranking](https://www.noxxic.com/docs/rankings), choose a spec's row and **Compare to**.

## Read the verdict

- Overall says which spec wins more of the categories under it, or that they split them evenly.
- DPS by category shows each category's winner and by how much, or **Tied** where the two are too close to tell apart. The info mark beside each row says how it's measured.

The comparison uses each spec's SimC gear. To see which spec of your class does the most DPS with your own gear, run **Best spec** from under the table.
