# Use a class guide

## Find your guide

1. Open **Guides** and choose your spec, or your class to see all its specs.
2. Move between sections with In this guide, beside the page or above it on a phone.

## What's in a guide

Every guide has Stat Priority, Gems & Enchants, Consumables and Talent Builds. DPS and tank guides are simmed on the spec's SimC profile and add Rotation and BiS Gear. Healer guides follow the top Mythic+ healers. Methodology says where the numbers come from.

BiS Gear lists the gear the profile is simmed in. Under it, **Best in bags** and **Best in vault** find the upgrades among your own items and your Great Vault.

## Sim your own character

A DPS or tank guide's numbers come from a SimC profile, not your character. To get your own:

- Open **Character Sims**, add your character and pick a sim.
- Choose the sim at the end of a section, such as **Sim Stat weights**, for only that part.
- Pick another **Mode** or **Rotation** tab on a section to [create a character guide](https://www.noxxic.com/docs/create-a-character-guide) on it.
