Below are the Stat Priority and Stat Summaries for Protection Warrior at level 100. The Stat Priority ranks your stats from most effective (left) to least effective (right). The Stat Summaries provide a quick overview of how each stat impacts your character.

Stat Priority

Stamina > Versatility > Bonus Armor > Armor > Mastery > Haste = Crit > Multistrike >= Strength

Stat Summaries

Strength increases your attack power and the damage dealt by your abilities. Further, Strength slightly increases your chance to Parry.

Mastery provides a passive bonus to your character based on your specialization. Mastery Critical Block increases your chance to block and critically block attacks. Also, Shield Mastery provides additional Mastery rating.

Stamina increases your total health.

Armor reduces physical damage received.

Haste increases attack and spell casting speed, adds additional damage and healing to DoTsA spell or ability that does damage over time. and HoTsA spell or ability that heals over time., and reduces the GCDA universal cooldown activated by most abilities..

Multistrike grants a chance for your spells and abilities to activate up to 1 additional time at 30% effectiveness. As Protection, your auto-attack Multistrikes regenerate health thanks to Blood Craze.

Critical Strike increase the chance for your spells and attacks to critically hit for additional damage and healing. As Protection, Crit also increases your chance to Parry via Riposte.

Versatility increases your damage, healing, and absorption done and decreases damage received.

Bonus Armor
Bonus Armor increases Armor and attack power for tanking specializations. As Protection, Bonus Armor also increases your Attack Power thanks to Bladed Armor.
