Below are the Stat Priority and Stat Summaries for Unholy Death Knight at level 100. The Stat Priority ranks your stats from most effective (left) to least effective (right). The Stat Summaries provide a quick overview of how each stat impacts your character.
Multistrike > Strength = PvP Power > Haste >= Mastery > Versatility > Crit
Strength increases your attack power and the damage dealt by your abilities.
Mastery provides a passive bonus to your character based on your specialization. Mastery Dreadblade increases all Shadow damage dealt, which increases the damage of core abilities like Scourge Strike, Death Coil, and Soul Reaper Unholy.
Versatility increases your damage, healing, and absorption done and decreases damage received.
Haste increases attack and spell casting speed, adds additional damage and healing to DoTsA spell or ability that does damage over time. and HoTsA spell or ability that heals over time., and reduces the GCDA universal cooldown activated by most abilities.. Also, Haste increases your Rune regeneration speed.
Critical Strike increase the chance for your spells and attacks to critically hit for additional damage and healing.
PvP Power increases the damage dealt and healing done to other players. In general, you will aquire PvP Power on PvP gear naturally and do not need to concern yourself with stacking this stat to the exclusion of other more useful stats.
Multistrike grants a chance for your spells and abilities to activate up to 1 additional time at 30% effectiveness. As Unholy, Necrosis provides additional Multistrike rating and adds additional Shadow damage to the Mulistrikes done by key abilities like Scourge Strike and Festering Strike.
