DPS Rotation & Cooldowns for Fury Warrior in PvE | Latest Patch 6.0.2

Guide configurations are temporarily disabled as data is rapidly changing for 6.0.2. Configurations will be re-enabled in a few days

The following rotation guide was developed through extensive simulations and play testing with the goal of keeping the guide as simple as possible without sacrificing performance. This guide also included AoE rotations and provides details on when to use special talents and cooldowns.

Single Target Rotation

Stance: Battle Stance

Normal Priority: Use this priority when your target is above 20% health.

  1. Wildstrike to prevent capping your Rage.
  2. Bloodthirst on cooldown when not Enraged. Procs Bloodsurge.
  3. Raging Blow when available.
  4. Wildstrike when Enraged or with Bloodsurge procs.

Execute Priority: Use this priority when your target is below 20% health.

  1. Execute to prevent capping your Rage.
  2. Bloodthirst on cooldown when not Enraged. Procs Bloodsurge.
  3. Execute while Enraged or with >= 60 Rage.
  4. Wildstrike when Enraged or with Bloodsurge procs.

Fury Warrior DPS is based on maintaining a high uptime on Enrage to generally buff your damage while also using as many Execute as possible. The Normal rotation should be followed while your target is above 20% health and then you should switch to the Exectue rotation when your target drops below 20% health.

The Normal priority uses Wildstrike when necessary to prevent capping your Rage. After this, use Bloodthirst on cooldown when not Enraged in order to try and proc Enrage as well as Bloodsurge. Next, use Raging Blow whenever available. Also, use Wildstrike when Enraged or to consume Bloodsurge procs.

The Execute priorty is similar to the Normal priority but places more emphasis on the use of Execute. To follow this priority, use Execute instead of Wildstrike to prevent capping your Rage. Continue to use Bloodthirst on cooldown when not Enraged in order to proc Enrage and Bloodsurge. Now, use Execute while Enraged or whenever you go above 60 Rage. Finally, continue to use Wildstrike while Enraged or to consume Bloodsurge procs.

AoE Rotation

With 3 or less targets, you should use Bloodthirst on cooldown to maintain Enrage. Use Whirlwind with >= 80 Rage and to stack the Raging Blow buff. Use Raging Blow when there are 2-3 stacks of the buff. Use Wildstrike as needed to consume Bloodsurge procs. With 4+ targets, place a higher emphasis on Whirlwind and continue to use it to dump Rage even with max Raging Blow stacks.

Talents

Below is advice on how to use the performance-enhancing talents that were selected in this guide.

  • Sudden Death procs are your highest priority and should be consumed immediately with Execute.
  • Storm Bolt should be used on cooldown for additional damage. Always try to use Storm Bolt on targets that are immune to stuns for the additional damage.
  • Bloodbath should be used on cooldown for additional damage.

Effective Cooldowns

These are effective cooldowns to try and incorporate into most all encounters.
